The RHADC acquired "Mangroville" in 1964, moving from their premises on Church Street which they had occupied since 1927. Sitting raised up on a small hill at the Eastern end of Hamilton Harbour, the clubhouse enjoys a commanding, unobstructed view towards the West. The spacious patio, perfect for al fresco dining and perhaps drinks while watching the sunset, overlooks the marina. Upstairs, there are a number of rooms available for meetings or private dinners and lunches. The Top of The Dining Room enjoys the same views as the lower bar and patio and is catered by a full service kitchen. There is also an upper bar for pre or post dinner drinks. The spacious grounds include parking, tennis courts, boat storage, lawns for outdoor functions and on the marina level, a small kitchen and bar facilities. The Club is heavily used for functions, both for members and outside parties. The site has planning information for your function, or you can call the Club to speak to the event planning staff. The Club's facilities are managed by the General Manager, and are overseen by the House & Grounds Committee. |
