ROWING IN THE GYM

Every Wednesday from 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. The Bermuda Rowing Association provides coaching on their rowing machines.   The rowing machine offers an excellent aerobic and all-body work out, that, if used according to the coaching will strengthen and tone muscles from head to toe. It is non-impact and builds supporting lower back muscles!  For those members, irrespective of age who wish to pursue a gradual, healthier, life style change, a three times per week work out is recommended.  Here’s how:

Consult your doctor to ensure that rowing activity will be good for you.  It’s important to start with coaching.  A trainer from the BRA will get you started with the correct method and also some work-out drills to enjoy.
