Many thanks to everyone who submitted suggestions to “Name that Boat”.  Winner will be announced on Friday and hopefully we can get the name on the boat in time to christen her at the SGM – the date for which will be announced as soon as we understand what we are allowed to do in terms of meetings once Phase 4 begins.

In the meantime, Wednesday Night Sailing is back!  It may be a small fleet to start with, but at least the die-hards will be able to go out.  Please note there is no post-racing socializing at RHADC afterwards, but members (and non-members) will be able to order food via the app and eat it in a responsible socially distanced manner on the Boathouse roof, the South Lawn or the main Terrace, subject to tables being available.   Please note that reservations may be made for tables as there is no walk up bar service, it is ‘sit down’ drinks service only with food ordered from the “chef to go” menu (or via the app) to be collected in the normal way.

However, I would urge you all to come for dinner on another night when we are serving the full menu as I am not the only one who has noticed that the food and the service are outstanding!  Cassius has put nice tablecloths out and everything is very elegant.  We are receiving lots of compliments which is just lovely and great for the staff to know that their efforts are recognized.
